In 2020, Dharti successfully completed her Master’s degree in Social Work. Following her academic achievement, she took on the role of a Newcomer Mental Health worker at a settlement agency. Her professional standing is recognized by her registration with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Additionally, Dharti is an esteemed member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
With a substantial background spanning over 3 years in the realm of social services, Dharti has been dedicated to serving both newcomers and the homeless population. Her expertise encompasses a range of services, including virtual and in-person mental health counseling, family support, mediation, and assisting clients in navigating complex systems. She is particularly attuned to the needs of diverse groups, including BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ youth and families.
Dharti has undergone specialized training in Solution-Focused Brief therapy, Crisis Prevention, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST). Her therapeutic approaches are grounded in evidence-based methods, including Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and strengths-based and client-centered approaches. She possesses a comprehensive understanding of local community resources and services and excels at coordinating these supports for her clients.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dharti is multilingual, fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. During her leisure time, she indulges in exploring various cafes throughout the city and engaging in the creative outlet of zendoodling artwork. She can virtually help our clients from any of our locations
Anamika Artwani is a registered physiotherapist in Canada specializing in musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, particularly focusing on fascia release and trigger point therapy techniques. With experience since 2019, she has found immense fulfillment in helping individuals overcome pain and regain mobility. Witnessing the transformation and seeing her patients smile after treatment fuels her passion for physiotherapy.
She integrates a personalized approach to rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of proper posture, body mechanics, and self-care practices for injury prevention. Her dedication to providing quality care is reflected in her ongoing pursuit of education and professional development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, and is committed to continually enhancing her skills to better serve her patients.
